三 | 为以更经济的方式服务更多农村用户，中通快递以智能快递柜为抓手，细化农村末端投递“颗粒度”。目前，中通在湖北全省已布设快递柜格口超25万个，今年预计将新增格口30万个。智能快递柜的引入将大幅增加农村地区快递派送效率。
四 | 据中通快递测算：目前，一个中通农村快递员一上午约能派送200件快递；有智能快递柜后，一上午能处理近500件快递，且实现24小时自助取件，降低快递丢失或被盗风险，让快递进村落到实处。无人快递车2024年，为提高末端科技应用，中通快递湖北公司已有18家一级加盟网点共计采购无人车37辆用于快件派送，主要分布在湖北武汉、襄阳、十堰、黄石、荆州等地，其中武汉15台、襄阳10台。根据数据来看，平均一台无人车日均派送门店数6.8家，平均一台无人车日均派送量1459票。
五 | 在湖北十堰网点，中通无人快递车在旺季期间已经在街头开始“营业”。此前，无人车在十堰城区多个复杂路段进行了全面测试，目前的运行线路为十堰快递物流园至兴丽城、国瑞蓝山郡，每天配送两趟。下一步，网点还将引进4辆无人车服务城区快递运输，全面提升网点派件效率，在旺季过后依旧做好充分的运力储备。中通的无人机在助力农产品揽收方面同样亮眼。在湖北秭归，每年12月，中通网点也迎来了业务繁忙季。
